We do not handle illegal, hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials.
We reserve the right to refuse service under unsafe or non-compliant conditions.
All price estimates are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of booking.
Flat-rate moves are based on scope, distance, and inventory provided in advance.
Hourly moves are billed with a minimum time commitment (usually 2–3 hours), plus applicable travel fees.
Long carry or stair carry beyond normal limits
Bulky or oversized items (e.g., pianos, safes)
Last-minute rescheduling or cancellations
Packing materials provided by our team
We understand that plans change. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice: no fee
Cancellations within 48 hours: subject to a $50 cancellation fee
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur full or partial service charges
We handle your belongings with care, but accidents may occur. Reliable Springfield Movers offers basic valuation coverage as required by law.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, improperly packed boxes (not packed by us), or items of extraordinary value not disclosed in writing.
For full replacement coverage, we recommend purchasing third-party moving insurance.
If an item is damaged or lost during the move:
You must notify our team immediately or within 7 days after delivery.
Claims must be submitted in writing with clear descriptions and supporting documentation.
All claims will be investigated, and any liability will be limited to the declared or actual value of the item based on coverage chosen.
Customers are expected to:
Provide accurate and complete information regarding the move
Ensure access to loading/unloading areas (parking permits, building access, etc.)
Be present during the move or designate an authorized representative
Ensure all items are packed, labeled, and ready unless packing service is purchased
Remove any obstacles or hazards from the moving site
We strive to meet agreed-upon schedules, but are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, mechanical failure, or events beyond our control (force majeure). In such cases, we will communicate alternative timelines and make reasonable efforts to complete the service.
The following items cannot be transported under any circumstance:
Firearms, ammunition, or explosives
Hazardous chemicals or flammable liquids
Perishables or live plants/animals
Cash, jewelry, collectible coins, or high-value personal documents (passports, deeds, etc.)
Payment is due in full upon completion of the move, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Late payments are subject to interest charges and possible collection action.
